Core Skills - Advanced Training in EFT - Led by Dr. James Hawkins

When: Core Skills 1&2 Thursday September 12 - Saturday September 14, 2024; Core Skills 3&4 Thursday November 14 - Saturday November 16, 2024; 8:30 - 5:30 each day

Where: Bentley University Conference Center, Waltham, MA

Cost: $1,800. We may have a limited number of equity scholarships available for therapist who identify as Black or African-American. Please send us an email to inquire to eftmassachusetts@gmail.com

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations requested more than 30 days before the training will be issued a refund for the registration fee less an administrative fee of $100.  Cancellations requested 10-29 days before the training will be issued a refund minus a $200 administrative fee. Refunds cannot be issued less than 10 days before the training; however, the registration fee can be transferred to an upcoming EFT MA training.

Level: Intermediate (completion of 4-day Externship required)

Target Audience: Marriage & Family Therapists, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists

Limited to 23 participants

CEs: 44 CEs for LMFTs, LICSWs, LMHCs and Lic. Psychologists split between Core Skills 1&2 and Core Skills 3&4, for a cost of $40 for each 22 CEs.

From National Marriage Seminars:

Participants must have paid registration fees, signed in, attended the entire seminar,  and signed out in order to receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.

National Marriage Seminars of America is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. National Marriage Seminars of America maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Counselors/Marriage and Family Therapists/Mental Health Counselors Nearly all Professional Counselors, MFT & Mental Health Counselor boards accept APA. Check with your board to be sure.

Course Description:

Core Skills is designed to give you a "deeper dive" into each stage, step, and intervention that make up an "Emotionally Focused" approach. The first weekend of Core Skills covers Stage 1, the second weekend Stage 2 and working with attachment Injuries. Core Skills combines more nuanced diadic teaching with much more experiential practice than the Externship. It is required for certification. Core Skills participants are required to show a clip of their EFT therapy with couples.

Core Skills is limited to 23 participants. Cost is $1,800 for both weekends of training.
