Learning Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an adventure in relational process. Supervisors help us look at present moment process in both the therpaist-client relationship, as well as the supervisor-therapist diad. Being able to navigate the meta layers of each of these dynamics is important in developing our skills in practicing EFT whether we are focusing on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) or Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
